Just to let every one know,  PSE has started a tree count (survey) on 95th St. for the high power lines.

He was very politically correct and said they (PSE) has not decided on a route.

It'd be interesting to know whether they are doing the survey on other routes too.  We probably should shoot an email to Barry.

Anything else we can do to put pressure on them? Sounds like a decisions has been made or am I misreading this?

No, a decision is not made yet, according to the official process.

Quote from PSE:

We will meet with the stakeholder advisory group on July 18, 2012 to incorporate community feedback and develop a preferred route recommendation. The meeting is scheduled from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center Auditorium (16600 NE 80th Street, Redmond)
  • During the meeting, the advisory group will discuss the possibility of selecting either the north end point (Juanita substation) or the south end point (interconnection point on an existing line along NE 124th Street) west of I-405 for the preferred route, regardless of which end point is shown on the alternatives map
I guess at the moment, we can try to contact the members of the Stakeholder Advisory Group and Barry Lombard from PSE and ask them to go with Route #3 when they recommend a "preferred route".  The following link contains the information of the SAG members but there is no contact information.

I contacted the following two (Rob seems to be sympathetic but Don is not confirming that he'll go with Route #3.)

Don Schmitz, North Rose Hill Neighborhood, don...@yahoo.com
Rob Jammerman, City of Kirkland – Public Works, rjamm...@kirklandwa.gov

I'll ask Barry whether it is possible for us to obtain contact information for the stakeholders advisory group.
