We’ve had a good turnout for the past two public service events, the WCA 5K and the siren drills. Thanks to Dick WB4HXF, Stan WA4DYD, Paul N4CUA, Todd KK4DDN, Dennis N4DEP, and Ed N4ZRA for coming out last Saturday for the WCA 5k! The folks coordinating the race were very grateful to have us there, and had pre-ordered t-shirts for the radio volunteers!

We have another event this Saturday, the Spartan 5K. We’ve supported this one for several years. The 5K begins at 9 am, so we should be on site no later than 8:45. For anyone interested, we can meet for breakfast around 7:45 at the Waffle House that’s at the intersection of 441S and Hog Mountain Rd, across from the Racetrack. Map is attached. Please let me know if you can help out on this one!
