2012 Siren Drill

Thanks to everyone who came out for the siren drill!  We learned some things, and so did Jackson County. The sirens didn’t work due to a switch malfunction. Interestingly enough, Clarke County experienced a similar failure but was able to get the sirens on for about 30 seconds.

 

The EMA is very appreciative of our willingness to perform this public service as well as our willingness to prepare for a major event.
