picture of a Breda LRV being trucked in for use on the Green Line. They are
being trucked in from Littleton to Riverside at the rate of one a week. The
first one is scheduled to go in to service in March. The doors at both ends
of the car will have three steps. The center door will have only one step.
A ramp will be deployed at the center door for handicapped access. There is
a picture in the Herald of the Breda being trucked. Anyone have any more
information? Anyone been to Riverside to see them or are they all indoors so
far?

They are usualy kept inside, remember one of them has been here for a year, and
three
others arrived later during 1998 for tests.
You can sometimes see them sitting outside.
If they are going to actually meet their
March goal, they are going to have to
begin operator training real soon, which
would mean training cars should start
showing up in daylight hours.
The once a week deliveries of production cars are only just
beginning this month.

A facility leased from Middlesex Construction
Inc., not sure of the actual address.
Type 7 fleet will also be trucked there one at a time to be modified
electrically to operate with the 8s.
