Immediately following the Blessing of the Bikes is a Poker Run to benefit
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cape Cod and the Islands. The Run will take
you along 40 scenic miles from West Dennis Beach, along Cape Cod and ending
at the Elks Lodge in Eastham on Route 6, where there will be food and
refreshments available. Cost is $20 per driver, $15 for passenger, and $10
for an extra poker hand. There are great prizes, food & beverages, a live
band, and 50/50 raffles will be held. For more information, a flier &

Directions to the Blessing and Start of Poker Run: Take Route 6 East to
Exit 9A and bear right onto Route 134 South. For a scenic ride take Route
6A to Route 134 South in East Dennis and continue until you pass Route 6.
Continue 2 miles to the Route 28 traffic lights, then cross Route 28 onto
Swan River Road. At the end of Swan River Road, take a right onto Lower
County Road and about ž of a mile later take a left onto Lighthouse Road.
When you enter the small rotary circle, the Beach entrance is halfway
around on the other side of the circle. This entrance will be for
motorcycles only; cars should continue around the circle and enter the
parking lot on your right, to the left of the snack bar.
The Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club was formed in
the Spring of 1974 in Bangor, Maine, with the MA VI Chapter being formed at
the start of 1976. There are presently over 20,000 members in 586 Chapters
located in 28 countries around the world; and in the past 16 years alone
the Blue Knights have donated approximately 4.9 million dollars in cash
$524,401 in goods, and over 156,933 work hours, for a total worth of over
$8.5 million, to more than 1,700 charities, including Concerns Of Police
Survivors, Cystic Fibrosis, D.A.R.E., Make-A-Wish, Toys For Tots and many
more, including local charities.
