Automation Tester/SDET
Atlanta/Remote
Job Description:
6+ years of experience in testing and automation
Experience in headless and RESTful services testing automation using Java based open source tools
Strong communication skills
Strong creative solutioning skills
Strong thought leadership
Should have experience with QA and Automation best practices
Ability to work independently and coordinate with team while juggling multiple priorities
Strong knowledge of QA Methodologies and ability to assist with creation of Test Plans, Test Cases and Processes
Hands on experience with Spring boot & microservices architecture
Proficient in Java 8 and Spring Framework
Hands on experience in developing/automating RESTful API with Rest Assured
Expert in automation using TestNG framework
Experience with various testing methodologies and strategies: Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, etc
Experience with Gherkin for supporting BDD Testing
Experience using Jira and Q-Test
Expert in automation testing using Cucumber with Serenity (Serenity nice to have)
Experience in using WireMock for stubbing API endpoints in support of testing RESTful services
Experience with Junit and Mockito
Experience in contract driven testing for Rest API
Experience with reading and leveraging Swagger documents
Experience with Postman for injection testing
Experience on messaging with Kafka / RabbitMQ (RabbitMQ nice to have)
Experience on MySQL / Oracle / RDBMS / NoSQL
Experience with SQL queries
Experience with AWS cloud features/technology
Experience with GIT / GITLab
Experience supporting developing and testing unit tests leveraging JUnit
Experience reading and generating logs
Experience working in an Agile Scrum and/or KANBAN environment
Experience with scrum ceremonies and estimation of work
Experience with documenting results, bug reports, and product wikis, etc
Comfortable with changing requirements
