Microsoft NT/2000 and IBM Mainframe Systems
The Technical Services Manager will provide leadership in coordinating,
developing and assessing the systems software and hardware requirements
associated with the Microsoft NT and IBM Mainframe systems. Working
knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory is required.
Candidates should have ten plus years of progressive IT experience,
including at least 3 years in a management role overseeing Systems
Administration. A Bachelor's degree is required with a concentration in
business, MIS or computer science. Certified MCSE is a plus.
A strong technical background in Microsoft NT and IBM Mainframe Operating
Systems Software (MVS/OS390) is a necessary requirement. Working knowledge
of Microsoft Active Directory is required.
Responsibilities
1. Coordinate the installation, maintenance, performance tuning and recovery
plans for the operating systems software and hardware for the Microsoft NT
and IBM Mainframe environments.
2. Assist in developing and performing data center recovery tests.
3. Maintain currency in technology areas related to Microsoft NT and IBM
Mainframe software and hardware. Attend appropriate vendor meetings and
conferences, as required.
4. Perform all departmental administrative activities including staff
meeting attendance, monthly status reporting, strategic planning, expense
processing, documentation and other activities, as assigned, in a timely
fashion.
