Description:
This position is for one GIS Help Desk Technician responsible for supporting
the GIS Distribution center and the GIS Help Desk. Distribution Center
activities include maintaining a 10,000 map inventory, filling map orders,
distributing maps, accounts receivable, account balancing, and recording map
sales. Help Desk activities include level 1 GIS Help Desk support, public
relations, answering phones, e-mail correspondence, logging service
requests, and maintaining a GIS customer database.

Other Requirements:
This position requires experience with GIS data and technologies. This
position requires skills in office procedures, methods and practices. This
position requires effective communication skills, oral and written and
grant-writing skills. The candidate must be able to work independently or
with a team. Learn, interpret, and explain policies and regulations.
