Job Title: Product Support Engineer
Job Description:
Position is responsible for providing technical support and corporate problem
management for company products in varied operating environments, complex
network applications, working with multi-vendor products, and having diversified
communication protocols and software. Additionally , this position is responsible
to evaluate, diagnosis and resolve real-time field problems, to provide ongoing
technical guidance to less experienced support engineers, deliver training
to support personnel as needed.
In depth design and support experience with TCP/IP, TL/EL, ISN, Major Routing
Protocols.
Extensive experience with bridge/routed and switched network design in both
LAN and WAN environments.
Basic network management experience
At least three plus years of customer technical support
Required:
This position requires an undergraduate degree in computer science/engineering
technical despcipline or equivalent employment related experience and 5 +
years of experience in the data communications industry.
Major responsibilites:
Provide customers with services and support which: focus on both the hardware
and software content of our products, provides network and systems solutions,
allows product problems to be escalated effectively and resolved quickly
and provides for a satisfactory response to customer questions and problems.

Pay Rate: 60-85K
