Job Title: Sr prototyping Eng Technician
Job Description:
Duties:
Responsible for the design, manufacture and support of electronic and/or
mechanical test equipment and fixtures. This includes working with New Product
Test Engineers to design effective test platforms utilized in the manufacture
of Companies latest switching products, documenting the design and assembly,
pr7\+curing materials, assembly and checkout, and installation at Companies
world-wide subcontract manufacturers.
Qualifications:
Mechanical assembly skills, ability to develop and read schematic and mechanical
drawings, IBM compatible PC skills including word processing, email, spreadsheets
and computer aided drawing (CAD), basic hand tool skills (drills, jigsaw,
etc.), ability to troubleshoot cabling/equipment interconnects.
Required:
Analytical skills, prototyping skills, able to manage own workload, good
oral and written skills, ability to work both independently and in a project
team setting, and effective communications skills.
High school diploma or GED. 2 or more years related experience. ASME/EE
or two year electronic school diploma a plus.
Location: MA Marlboro
Duration: 3 - 6 months
