Join our growing number of Interaction Designers/Usability Engineers
and create world class user interface designs for Kronos' web-based
applications. We are looking for an experienced human factors engineer
to 1) interview customers, 2) create prototypes/user interface
designs, 3) run usability tests at different stages of development
process, and 4) establish and maintain user interface design
standards. You would be a focal point within Workforce Timekeeper
application team, working closely with product management,
development, and other cross-functional groups.
Requires a minimum 5+ years of user interface design and usability
evaluation to include 2+ years of web application design experience.
Ability to apply knowledge of usability principles to product design
is key. Knowledge of cross-browser development, HTML, Java applets,
Active X controls, portals/portal designs, and workflow/forms
designers is highly desirable. Candidate will be experienced with
usability testing techniques as well as prototyping tools. Candidates
invited for an interview must be prepared to show sample web-based
screen designs from previous work. Excellent oral and written
communication skills are required.
