Position Title: Mechanical Engineering Manager
Working Location: Bedford, MA
Employment Status: Full-Time Regular
Required Experience: 10 years
Required Education: Bachelors Degree

Job Description:
Responsible for development of mechanical subsystems for all products
and development projects. This responsibility includes generation of
mechanical subsystem development plans and specifications; analysis of
mechanical subsystems; development of the mechanical subsystem
architecture to support system requirements; and generation of
documentation to comply with design control requirements. Responsible
for resolution of mechanical design problems that cause production and
field service issues with instrumentation products released to
Manufacturing.
Essential Skills:
Requires a BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering with 10 years experience
developing instrumentation. A minimum of 5 years in a management
capacity. Extensive experience developing fluid handling and
automation systems required. Experience developing optical systems
desirable. Demonstrated ability to provide timely development and
release of effective mechanical designs. Experience implementing
mechanical design environments including solid modeling tools and an
effective design process.


Position Title: Senior Buyer
Working Location: Bedford, MA
Employment Status: Full-Time Regular
Required Experience: 6 years
Required Education: Bachelors Degree
Required Travel: 0%
Job Description: Responsible for assuring the continuous supply
of commodities to maintain required production levels at lowest
optimum cost consistent with quality, product specifications, and
manufacturing requirements. Responsible for development of qualified
reliable suppliers and supply chain enhancements.
Essential Skills: This is a delivery and execution driven
career. Solid background in business Law and contract law, 4 yr.
business degree and MBA a Plus. 5+ years of Sr. buyer / purchasing
experience a must. Individual must be reliable, confident in
negotiations, savvy business person and proactive. Managing Suppliers,
supply chain and internal customer requirements are mandatory.
Individual must be highly adaptable to a fast moving manufacturing and
MRO environment.


Position Title: Staff Manufacturing Engineer I (2 openings
available)
Working Location: Bedford, MA
Employment Status: Full-Time Regular
Required Experience: 8 years
Required Education: Not Indicated
Required Travel: 0%
Job Description: Develops, implements and maintains methods,
operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of
parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Interfaces
with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products.
Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes
recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or
existing product lines. Maintains records and reporting systems for
coordination of manufacturing operations.
Essential Skills: Requires a Bachelors' degree with a minimum of 8
years of related experience developing methods and processes in the
manufacturing or fabrication of parts, components, and sub-assemblies.
Graduate coursework is desirable.
