-Candidate will work on the development of ruggedized workstations and
associated
peripherals, which utilize SUN SparcEngines and Solaris operating system(s).
-Candidate will write UNIX test scripts and devices drivers.
-Candidate will also develop acceptance test plans and work with
Environmental Lab personnel to qualify products.
-Candidate will evaluate new COTS products with current platforms, provide
technical assistance where needed and
support new product development.
-Candidate will have direct contact to customer community to resolve
technical issues for fielded equipment and must be
able to react quickly to customer request(s).
-Must have good understanding and working knowledge of workstation standards
and protocols.
-Must have good trouble shooting skills and the ability to work with others
in a fast pace environment.
Education Required: BSEE or BSCE
Experience 4-6 years experience
Additional Requirements
Strong Unix (Solaris) experience and hardware background Applicants selected
will be subject to a security investigation and
must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
