I only caught a couple of minutes of the guy but he was telling stories
about the events within the twin towers during the terrorist attacks.
Anyone know who he was? I got the impression he was promoting a book of
such stories, is that true? Any more info on that?

I didn't hear it, but it was likely one of the authors of "102 Minutes." Jim
Dwyer has been on many cable TV shows the past week discussing the book.

I looked into that suggestion. Yes, I think that is correct.
Thanks!!

I used to read Jim Dwyer's columns when I lived in NYC; he's a good
reporter, and I'm now going to have to get this book.

I had never heard of him before. He spoke very intelligently on the show
and in telling the stories of doomed people behaving heroically he did
so by merely stating the facts and letting them speak for themselves
rather than adding unnecesary melodramtic verbiage, wisely acknowledging
the power of the raw stories themselves. Unfortunately, like I said
before, I only caught few minutes but will look forward to getting the
book.
