hi walter,

i was your 'assistant' last year in an asian cooking class. i would love
to take the tour of h-mart! one issue i have with asian markets is
knowing what the hell those wierd things are since they are never
labeled in english!! or when i do know what i want to buy, which
version/brand should i get? or how do i find the ingredients to make ___
(random asian dish)?

but i may have a schedule conflict. could you offer it again some other
night? maybe we can have a ne.food meetup there so we can teach/learn
from each other?

there are supposed to be several open places in the food court. i did
read on their site that they were looking to rent more (total of 10
places i think).

All in favor say AYE

(not that I'm likely to make it, but I'll come as long as there are no
conflicts with hockey - ya - right!)

AYE!

Thank you for the generous offer, Walter. My fear is that H-mart will be
mobbed on the second Saturday after it opens. Will they be able to handle
a tour group?

well, i don't think i can make it when walter is running his tour. my
thoughts were on organizing a meetup there on a different schedule with
ne.food people. we can do the food court and tour/shop h-mart
ejimicating each other about asian stuff.

as for hockey, i can imagine some nice asian marinade or obscure
ingredients would make a puck palatable! :)

Yes - but would it be tender or retain that rubbery texture...

hi walter,

have you fixed the schedule of this tour? i do have a tasting event at
pemberton farms from 11-2 (come by for some best friends cocoa and other
treats at this event) so i can make late afternoon. what time will you
start the tour? where will you meet up at h-mart?
