not necessarily a brunch place but krazy karry's is great for family
food. pretty good burgers and toppings, chicken sandwichs, chili, other
stuff. and lotsa room for a gang. there isn't much up by the hockey rink
unless you go to mass ave. there is a fair chinese place with a buffet
there (jade garden).

it is near the center in the arlington plaza which is that end of
broadway where it hits mass ave. there is a bunch of parking on both
sides of that little block too. note that kary's is primarily a burger
shop and worth trying out. you order at the counter but they deliver to
your table. they have beer and frappes too.
the brunch question is all about your pricing level and cuisine
tastes. there are plenty of good restaurants around but classic brunch
is not offered except by a high end place or two (tryst for
one). jimmy's steer house isn't brunchy but has fair prices for lunch
and good portions to feed the hungry hordes too.
Jimmy's might be a good choice. I think it is the closest restaurant
(non-takeout) to the hockey rink. We have never been disappointed there.
Take a look at their menus at http://www.jimmysarlington.com/ and decide
whether that is what you want. Unfortunately, they do not serve from the
lunch menu on Sunday but there are burgers, chicken, and eggplant sandwiches
on the dinner menu..
