There is a draft RUSA award for lifetime gravel distance in increments of 100km, 500km, and 5000km. Possibly increments of 1000km too. There's no formal award yet (so no info page) but the website is displaying the virtual "trophies" as people accumulate unpaved distances.
I rode the Gate 43 perm yesterday which has a moderate amount of gravel for the distance (120km) for people looking to increase there totals. I really, really like the route. (But I also designed it so take that for what it's worth.)
