Hey all,

Earlier in the year when we were figuring out the schedule, I pitched the idea of doing an official 6 Gap brevet.

I've never lead a ride with NER before, but would be happy to lead this especially given my relative proximity to the start.

Would anyone be willing to chat with me around logistics of running something like this? I've already reviewed the helpful pages on the website, but still have a few questions. I've listed a smattering below:
  • For this route (or a 200K like this), how many controls do we normally aim to staff? It looks like this route has 6 controls including the start/finish.
    • My guess is that it's largely driven by how many volunteers we're able to get?
  • As far as materials for the staffed control goes, it seems there's some stuff in a "storage shed". Given that I'm up by White River, I'm not sure how easy it'll be to quickly pick up and drop off materials. I go to the Boston area infrequently for work.
  • Anyone have intel on parts of the route that are problematic? I remember hearing of a bridge outage in VT last month. New England 511 shows everything as being good so far.
Thanks!
Andrew

Never mind! Just learned this ride has a leader.

Still open to helping if needed
