Hi NERds,

I'm here with a sales pitch for the Hells Hollow 200k happening out of Providence on April 12th. You can read the full description on the website, and here are some highlights:
  • Route is almost identical to the Hells Hollow ride in 2024 -- only changes are in the last couple miles in Providence to take advantage of new bike paths.
  • The ride has some lovely punchy hills on the departure out of Providence, and a looooong relaxing gradual downhill on the 20 mile return to Providence on a nice paved bike path.
  • You'll see all the classics: woods, fields, farms (Cumberland and otherwise), critters, country roads, etc.
  • Three states!
  • Start and end at Lefty Loosey, a community bike shop in Providence. We've got everything: bathrooms (with questionable showers even!), coffee/tea, bike repair stands/tools for last-minute adjustments, and even a welding shop (did your bike fall off your car on the highway on the way to Providence and needs to be welded back together before the ride? you're all set).
Give me a shout if you've got questions, and hope to see you there!

Looking forward to the ride! Is the GPS route finalized? The site still says Draft...

Hi! The route will be finalized by Saturday -- sorting out one last detail. I will send out an email to all registered riders on Friday evening or Saturday morning with some notes and will let you know that the route is complete.

Looking forward to Sunday!

Good morning,

Unfortunately I will not be able to travel down this weekend.

May the warmth of the tailwind have you all arrive safely!

Hello all:
The ride page has been updated and the RWGPS file has been updated and synced to e-brevet app.  Sorry for the delay in finalizing the control location at Charlton.  Hope to ride with you on route at some point this Sunday.
