Hello All,

NER used to have winter rides to maintain fitness between seasons. I'm planning to do a ride every month during the winter and wanted to extend an invitation to you all.  I'm planning on riding 200ks but there are couple 100k routes in Dedham that share about an 1-2 hours of riding with the 200k.  I'm also open to routes on the north side of Boston depending on what route the group wants to ride that month.

This would be great prep for the coming summer series and the NER 1200k in September 2026.

Let me know if you're interested in a 100k or 200k and I'll start coordinating.

Best,

Jacob

Great idea! I too miss the Sunday rides NER used to organize during the winter months. In fact, that's how I got introduced to randonneuring.
Anyway, please let me know when you plan to go on a ride. I'd love to join.

Hello All,

Tsun, Amitoj, and I will be riding the Dover-Ponyhenge routes on Sunday starting at 8am.  On street parking is available or you could park at 35 Waterfield Rd, Winchester, MA 01890 and ride a very short distance to the start.  Riders will spend the first two hours together as the 100k route is exactly the same as the 200k but skips the trip to Rhode Island.

Weather is forecast to be scorching 36F with a 7mph west wind.

If you'd like to join us please sign up for the permanent of interest, email us, and we'll see you at the start.

Best,

Jacob
