to NERds
Greeting NERds. It's time to start planning for the Team event weekend! The finish location is going to be Medford, MA. (About 7 miles Northwest of downtown Boston.) There will be a celebratory pancake breakfast on our deck on Sunday, May 31st.

ACP will not allow events to occur in June so this is the latest possible weekend for many years to come. Hopefully the snow will be melted by then.

As usual, there's the Fleche which is a 24 hour, 360km+ event with no stop being more then 2 hours. Teams pick their own start location and time provided they finish by Sunday morning. NEW this year is that teams will get RUSA climbing and gravel credit for the actual route they use.

The Trace is a unique Team event where teams of 2-6 vehicles ride 200km-359km but they do not need to take 24 hours and stops can be as long as desired. If you like the idea of a team event and also like the idea of sleep, this is a good event for you. Note that distance, elevation, and gravel do not count for Trace events.

If there is a desire for a Dart (200k in 13.5h) or Dark Populair (120km in 8h), we can add these to the schedule. Unlike the Trace, distance/gravel/elevation will count on Dart events. However, Darts have a single, common finishing time.

Hello All,

I'm seeking fleche team members.  I have a route from NYC to Medford that could be interesting:  https://ridewithgps.com/routes/54087992.  I'm also open to other options.  Email me if you're interested.

Best,

Jacob

Would be glad to talk more about that fleche route/team, Jacob. My group permissions don't seem to allow me to email you directly, apologies for reply all.
