Annual Meeting -- Student Grants Available

[Northeast Partners in Amphibian and Reptile Conservation (NEPARC)]

Hello students interested in attending the NEPARC Annual Meeting in August,

Thanks to our many generous sponsors, NEPARC is pleased to announce that we are offering up to three student grants for those needing financial assistance to attend the 2025 NEPARC Annual Conference. 

The NEPARC Student Grant will cover the cost of conference registration ($100). Please note that this does not cover lodging or travel expenses. Each recipient is expected to help with small tasks at the 2025 NEPARC Annual Conference, including assisting at the registration desk, general meeting set-up/breakdown, merchandise sales/silent auction table, etc. If you have already registered for the meeting, your fee will be reimbursed. If you have not yet registered and you receive the grant, we will give you instructions for registration.

Those interested in being considered for this opportunity should submit an email to neparc....@gmail.com briefly (100 words or less) describing why attendance at the NEPARC Annual Meeting will benefit them and their future career ambitions and that they have not received school funding for the meeting registration. The deadline to submit for this opportunity is July 18.

About the Annual Meetings .... 

Meetings are held annually and provide a forum to discuss NEPARC projects, hear presentations on various herp conservation and research activities, network, enjoy the company of like-minded herp enthusiasts, and elect officers.
