Hi NEPARC,
Please see the note below and the attached PDF for information about the 10th annual Salamander Saturday and associated art contest.
What is Salamander Saturday? It's an initiative started by the Foundation for the Conservation of Salamanders (FCSal) to raise awareness about salamanders, their habitats, and their role in the ecosystem. It is held on the first Saturday of May each year. FCSal encourages organizations around the world to hold an event on this day and to share their events through social media using #SalamanderSaturday, thereby promoting global unity in the effort to protect salamanders.
Be sure to check out the link below if your organization is interested in hosting an event and/or spreading awareness through your social media platforms.

Hello Salamander Supporters!
We are gearing up for another Salamander Saturday on 2 May 2026! This will be our 10th annual Salamander Saturday!
Attached is the flier for an art contest to design the 2026 Salamander Saturday T-shirt that will be available in conjunction with our salamander stroll. Please help us spread the word!
As always we are looking for organizations to host events or have social media on this day to encourage the global effort to conserve salamanders and their habitats!
