Hello NEPARC,
Please see below for information about a volunteer opportunity with the Peabody-Beardsley-Maritime Chapter of FrogWatch USA.
---------------------------------
The Peabody-Beardsley-Maritime Chapter of FrogWatch USA is recruiting volunteers in Connecticut for this year's FrogWatch season. One of the largest chapters in the nation, we collect over ~1,000 observations each season and would love for you to get involved. In just 5 more short minutes, you can contribute to a growing data set used to track how our local frogs and toad populations are doing. Volunteers are asked to collect data once a week (or more if they want), at a sight of their choice! To sign up click HERE. This is an easy way to collect data from the comfort of your home, or to add to another data set when you're out in the field!
This data set is also open-access and available for the public to use! If you have questions about volunteering or accessing the data, please feel free to email Andrew Connolly, one of the chapter coordinators, at Andrew...@gmail.com
Thank you, The Peabody-Beardsley-Maritime Chapter of FrogWatch USA
