Post only on Standards

Hello and Happy Friday, 

I have been working to get our standards based grading courses set up all the same way so they are consistent. Some of them are set to be post only within each parent standard as well as to the course and others are only post only to the course. See screenshots below. 

I am finding that our teachers do not like the first option as they have to post grades to too many areas rather than just the course. But I feel that making the standard parents post only avoids mistakenly adding an assignment to the parent standard. 

Wondering how you all have your standards set up and what works the best for you?
