Here is another trade secret for any of you that have Error 409;

Error code return from Ed-Fi. 400: [detail:Data validation failed. See 'validationErrors' for details., type:urn:ed-fi:api:bad-request:data-validation-failed, title:Data Validation Failed, status:400, correlationId:6ec5f14a-8327-4fba-a51a-cc637f8f96ab, validationErrors:[$._ext.ne.expectedHighSchoolOfGraduationSchoolReference:[ExpectedHighSchoolOfGraduationSchoolReference is missing the following properties: SchoolId]]].”

I have retried, resynced the student, resynced the school in proper sync order and it still would not upload a student.  The secret; go to the student information > Ed-FI Data > Run comparison of the config (25-26) and the Resource.  In my case it was Student School Association.  Find the Ed-Fi Data section empty.  Click on the Resync button, wait or check Event Queue to process and compare again.  Student syncs!!!

Why no sync using the other syncs?  I don’t know.  This fixed it for me.  Again, YMMV, but I thought I would share.

I will add that in my case I also had to go into the student enrollment and enter the FTE and save.  The error was showing student FTE of 0.  However, the actual FTE in enrollment was 100.  I retyped 100 and clicked save.  Extra step, I don't know, but it cleared my error log.
