Period Setup - Courses for Alt. HS

I have a HS student who attends Boys Town. I was wondering about setting up the periods similar to how we do elementary.

I was thinking this would be easier in two ways

1. The periods during which the student takes the courses don't really matter; we just need to have them reported on the transcript.
2. Our secretary enters attendance for the student, so it would be easier to just mark one period.

Does anyone see any issue with this on how it is reported to the state?

That is how we have our special situations set up as well. Works slick.

I went ahead and setup that way. Now I am getting this error for each of his courses - 

Any ideas?
