Ed-Fi Errors 403 and 400

Has anyone received this error?  I've had a ticket open but haven't had any response on what could be missing.

Error code return from Ed-Fi. 403: [detail:Access to the requested data could not be authorized. Hint: You may need to create a corresponding 'StudentSchoolAssociation' item., type:urn:ed-fi:api:security:authorization, title:Authorization Denied, status:403, correlationId:98d7bf56-96c1-44e7-bb55-fcddd829a891, errors:[No relationships have been established between the caller's education organization id claim (100069000) and one or more of the following properties of the resource item: 'SchoolId', 'StudentUniqueId'.]].

I'm also getting this error with it as well.

Hi Shari,

Go to enrollment > State Reporting Fields > Expected Grad High School and fill in.  It's the High School 3 digit number.

I already did this for all my students.  I did a resync and it didn't fix anything.

I did that and still had errors.  What I found in our system to fix it was to go the student enrollment and make sure there was a school of assignment entered.  For some reason we had several students who did not have this selected.

FYI this is what campus told me about this error. I tested it by manually putting in Kindergarten and it did clear my errors.

This is good to know Alyssa! Thank you for the share. I finished writing a data update script that took care of over 1000 student records for us. I do think I will keep our default setting so that any new enrollment will have that 3 digit code already populated and our secretary/registrars will have one less field to populate or touch. 😉
