POS Fees

Has anyone noticed a significant increase in the fees associated with Stripe?  Our bookkeeper has noticed a large increase for us, so I was curious if others were noticing the same issue.

I don't have any exact figures to give you, but it is enough already this school year that we are looking at having to increase our convenience fee.

Hi all, I’m looking in to getting you an accurate Fees sheet for Stripe. I don’t believe they should have increased BUT let’s find out for certain. I’ll share an accurate document as soon as I can track that down.

Ours have stayed about the same. I know we charge 3.8% which puts our "breakeven" amount just over $100. So anytime someone pays less than $100 we lose money, over $100 and we profit. Are you seeing a difference in how large of payments people are making?

We do a flat convenience fee, so even if they are paying for multiple students in one payment, they are only getting charged the one convenience fee.  She doesn't have a comparison of the payments right now, but had planned to see how things were looking mid-school year.  

Do most do a flat rate or a percentage?

Good Friday morning all,

I confirmed that the Fees schedule with Campus payments does not change when the vendor switches from Payrix to Stripe. Do check your settings and if you feel something is amiss, open a support case but the Fee Schedule itself has not changed.
