Direct Certification

Is there a way for parents to see if they have been directly certified by the state?  When I process an application, the parent will get a message that states approved/denied for the application.  We they are directly certified, I don't see a message that they have been approved.  Is there a checkbox for that, am I missing it?  Thanks for your help!
