reporting to the state of NE

I am looking for anyone that could assist in helping me figure out why we are not talking to the state.  We believe have done the mapping, added the graduation district, and shut off the 24-25 school year from reporting.  I put in a ticket on Friday and have not heard back from IC.  Is there a way to see that the state is receiving our information?  I have not received anything from the direct certification in the nutrition department though so I really don't think it is talking.

Don't the direct certs for the nutrition program start coming after you do the initial full student upload to Person ID? I started getting mine back in July after I did my upload.

yes, but we didn't start school until 9/2 so I did not do an upload this summer.  I think I need to do that now.  IC got back to me and says it is because of the Expected Grad High School.  I did the workaround by adding a default value for our one high school and IC tells me that doesn't work that I have to touch each student.

My kids are not going to ADVISER right now either due to that error. They told me the same thing but we have 4,500 kids. There is no way I can get to each of them and then remove it when they fix the issue. I am crossing my fingers that they get it fixed soon. I would say that you will need to a bulk upload to Person ID to get your kids enrollments in for direct certification purposes.

We are in the same boat and I'm super frustrated. I populated the expected school of graduation also, and the only students showing on Advisor are the three that I opened and saved. I have archived errors and resynced probably a hundred times now and am showing thousands of errors on IC side, and over a thousand on the Advisor side. I know that our data is better than that. My configuration has been checked. I've also reprocessed errors on Advisor a multitude of times.

In todays NE Focus Group Meeting it was said that a fix for the Expected High School of Graduation will be in release 2535.11 which will hopefully be available by Friday.  That should fix the issue that is stopping all of the kids from going to ADVISER.

We are currently running on Campus 2535.11 and I am still getting the IC Errors 400 and 403 and it doesn't seem like a lot of my information is sending to Adviser correctly still. Do I need to do a full resync (like follow the Steps 1-4) for each school for all of these errors on the Infinite Campus side to go away and for information to start sending correctly to Adviser?? I had already gone in and fixed a bunch of the Adviser "Prior School Year" errors by going in and populating that Expected Grad High School field so I am worried that all of the errors I had worked on will come back if I do that full resync! Anyone else still having issues?

Did you run a resync after getting your Ed-Fi configuration setup?  I would suggest that you did that.  It won’t hurt anything to do another now.  You could archive all of your current errors in the Error Log and run a resync following the suggested steps.

 

Resync one building at a time and work any errors as you perform each resync step, is my suggestion.

Yes, once the cloud update was installed, everything resolved with a resync  on IC side and reprocessing on Advisor. We are in good shape now, thankfully!
