Instructional minutes

Is anyone else having issues with their instructional minutes not calculating correctly?  In the Adviser reports, I can have several classes in 7th period with correct minutes and then several classes in incorrect minutes..... that doesn't even make sense.

I hate instructional minutes! The way they are calculated is a complete mystery to me.  Wish I could help you.

I understand how they are calculated but why do 2 courses end up with different minutes when they are in the same period???
