SS sensitivity

Dears,
we are not obtaining sensitivity for 4.77mm think ,14inch diameter stainless steel pipe, so please advise me to how to ger it,,,,
we are using stainless wire type IQI....required wire 14 but obtained is 13 max
IN SE 747 group 1 mentioned carbon steel or stainless steel IQI...It mean both are same, we can use either opne for cs or ss..
