Bonaparte will host this year's competition from April 3rd until April 4th of 2009.

This year's Amsterdam Open will be everything you can possibly be looking for in a debating tournament:

We will entertain 5 preliminary rounds of 7-minute speeches, breaking to semi-finals.

A team cap of 80 teams, with a maximum of 5 teams per institution. Composite and independent teams are more than welcome.

The registration fee is set at �50 for debaters and �30 for adjudicators. This includes guaranteed accommodation, lunch and dinner on Friday, three meals on Saturday, and a vibrant social programme from Thursday evening until Sunday afternoon.

And of course, Amsterdam! Offering a range of ways to expand the mind, the City of Sin will definitely meet your needs.
