2011 Art & Wine Walk
Business Applications Now Available
Business applications are now being accepted for the 2011 Art & Wine Walk. Art & Wine walk gives businesses the opportunity to open their doors to the community and its many talented artists. Applications are available online at www.novac.org <http://www.novac.org> or by contacting the North Valley Arts Council at 701-772-3710.
Celebrating its 5th years as a part of the Grand Forks community, the Art & Wine Walk is organized by the North Valley Arts Council and the Convention and Visitors Bureau. Dates for the 2011 Art & Wine Walk will be June 18st, July 16th, August 20th, September 17th, and October 15th. Bringing community members and businesses together, the Art & Wine Walk takes place from 1-5 PM with a Champagne reception to follow at the Empire Arts Center. As a host, businesses have the opportunity to showcase a regional artist’s work, provide samples of wine, specialty beer or other refreshments, and visit with members of their community.
Applications will be accepted throughout the Art & Wine Walk season, but applications received after May 1st are not guaranteed for participation.
The North Valley Arts Council supports arts and culture for the artists, arts organizations and citizens of Greater Grand Forks.
The Convention & Visitors Bureau’s mission is to stimulate economic impact and promote a favorable impression of the area by helping events and tourists select Greater Grand Forks and make the most of their stay.
