The Fargo Police Department Requests Public Assistance in Investigation of Shots Fired Incident

Residents are asked to check for video of the suspect vehicle, described as a dark-colored sedan

FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA – On Sunday, February 8, at 10:16 p.m., Fargo Police Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 3300 block of 30th Avenue South. Upon arrival, officers located several shell casings at the scene. Investigators obtained video that shows two individuals exit a vehicle and fire rounds in the direction of another vehicle. The two individuals then get back into their vehicle, and both vehicles leave the scene. Officers located the vehicle that was struck and seized it as evidence. Investigators believe that a juvenile driver and a second person were in the vehicle when it was shot at. No injuries have been reported at this time, and no arrests have been made.

The Fargo Police Department is looking to locate the suspect vehicle, described as a dark-colored sedan. Investigators have a low-quality image of the suspect vehicle (see the attached image) and are encouraging the public to provide any additional video or images that may assist the investigation. The FPD is asking members of the public to check for any video they may have of the suspect vehicle in the area between 25th Street South and Interstate 29 and between 23rd Avenue South and 32nd Avenue South from 9:45 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday, February 8.
