Road Closure Begins May 3 Near Fargo Water Treatment Plant

 

FARGO, N.D. (April 26, 2021) – A portion of 4th St. S. in Fargo is expected to be closed from May 3 through July 23 as construction crews work on Red River Pump Station upgrades for the Fargo Water Treatment Plant.

            Beginning on Monday, May 3, the one block area between 13th and 14th Aves. S. will be closed to through traffic on 4th St. Detour signage will route traffic around the closure through the expected completion date.

            The Red River Pump Station project includes important upgrades to water supply infrastructure at the Fargo Water Treatment Plant, which provides drinking water to the Cities of Fargo and West Fargo as well as Cass Rural Water District customers.
