West Fargo Police Department responds to Saturday, May 9 traffic collision
|
|
(West Fargo, N.D. – May 11, 2026) At approximately 9:54 p.m. Saturday, May 9, the West Fargo Police Department responded to the intersection of 10th Avenue E. and 9th Street E. for reports of a collision.
Upon arrival, officers found a two-vehicle collision with both vehicles having sustained significant damage. The driver of vehicle one disregarded a traffic signal and was struck by oncoming traffic in the intersection. The driver of vehicle one initially fled on foot to a nearby residence.
The driver of vehicle one was later identified as a juvenile male who did not possess a valid driver’s license. The juvenile will be referred to juvenile court for charges.
The driver of vehicle two was transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
The West Fargo Police Department was assisted by the West Fargo Fire Department and Sanford Ambulance. |
