PRESS RELEASE- FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

STROM CENTER TO HOST TWELFTH ANNUAL STROM CONFERENCE

Dickinson, ND – On April 16th and 17th the Strom Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation will host its twelfth annual entrepreneurship conference at the Ramada’s Grand Dakota Lodge in Dickinson.

For over a decade, this annual conference has featured experts in innovation, entrepreneurship, and small business development as a part of the Strom Center’s effort to inspire and develop these strengths in southwest North Dakota. This year’s conference will include internationally known keynote speaker Stephen M. R. Covey.

Stephen M. R. Covey is the New York Times and #1 Wall Street Journal bestselling author of The Speed of Trust.   He advocates that nothing is as fast as the speed of trust and that the ability to establish, grow, extend, and restore trust with all stakeholders is the critical leadership competency of the new global economy. Covey personally led the strategy that propelled his father’s book, Dr. Stephen R. Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, to one of the two most influential business books of the 20th Century, according to CEO Magazine. Over the years, Covey has gained considerable respect and influence with executives and leaders of Fortune 500 companies as well as with mid- and small-sized private sector and public sector organizations he’s consulted.

The conference opens on the evening of April 16th with a special presentation by Stephen M. R. Covey.  The session will be held at Dickinson State University in Dorothy Stickney auditorium.  The conference will continue throughout the day on Tuesday, April 17th at the Ramada Grand Dakota Lodge in Dickinson, ND. The cost to attend 16th only is $25.00, the 17th only $90.00, and both days for $100.00.
