Road Closures for Downtown Fargo Street Fair Begin Wednesday, July 15

Parking will be available in City of Fargo parking garages and surface lots

 

FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA – The City of Fargo and Downtown Community Partnership are preparing to host the annual Downtown Fargo Street Fair this week. To accommodate the July 16-18 event, certain roads in Downtown Fargo will be closed from 6 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, until 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 18.

 

The road closures will include:

  • Broadway will be closed north of Main Avenue to 7th Avenue North.
  • Broadway intersections at NP Avenue, 2nd Avenue North, 3rd Avenue North and 6th Avenue North will be closed.
    • Broadway intersections at 1st Avenue North, 4th Avenue North and 7th Avenue North will remain open to cross traffic.
  • 2nd Avenue North will be closed from Roberts Street through the intersection of 5th Street North.
  • NP Avenue also remains closed from 2nd Street North to 4th Street North due to unrelated construction.

 

The best routes into Downtown Fargo for the Street Fair include:

  • North/South: 2nd Street North, 4th Street North, 10th Street North and University Drive North
  • East/West: Main Avenue, 1st Avenue North, 4th Avenue North and 7th Avenue North

 

Visitors are encouraged to park in City of Fargo parking garages and surface lots in Downtown. For details, please visit FargoParking.com.
