Martin Luther King Jr. Day Schedules for City Offices, Fargo Public Library, Municipal Court, Fargo Cass Public Health and MATBUS

Garbage and recycling collection schedules will not be affected by the holiday

 

FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA – The City of Fargo offices will be closed on Monday, January 19, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Additionally, all Fargo Public Library locations, Fargo Municipal Court and Fargo Cass Public Health offices, including WIC and clinic, will be closed Monday, January 19.

 

MATBUS will provide full service on all routes except 31, 33, 34 and North Dakota State University On-Demand on Monday, January 19. MATBUS administrative offices will be closed.

 

The regular City Commission meeting will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, in the Commission Chambers in City Hall, 225 4th St. N.

 

Garbage and recycling collection schedules will not be affected by the holiday. Residents are reminded to always place garbage and recycling carts out for collection by 8 a.m. on their normal garbage day. The Fargo Sanitary Landfill and Household Hazardous Waste Facility will be open and operating normal hours on Monday, January 19.

 

The public lobbies of Fargo Police Department Headquarters (105 25th St. N.) and Fargo Fire Department Station 1 (637 NP Ave.) will be closed on Monday, January 19. However, full police and fire protection will continue during the holiday.
