Sheyenne Street Road Closure Saturday, May 16 for Spring Red River Market

(WEST FARGO, N.D. – May 8, 2026) Sheyenne Street, from South of 3rd Avenue W. to North of 5th Avenue W., will close for the Spring Red River Market on Saturday, May 16. The road will close at 6:45 a.m. for event setup and will reopen for regular traffic at 3 p.m. Traffic will detour to 1st Street.

Motorists in these areas may encounter congestion and delays during the event and should adjust their travel plans accordingly. Always use the ‘S’ check when traveling in and around event areas – check your speed, space and stress. Motorists are reminded to put down the distractions and yield to the increase in pedestrian traffic.

The Street and Event Closing Permit is requested through the City of West Fargo’s website. The application must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the event.

This serves as a notification of the approved road closure times. Event times may differ from the provided road closure times. For more information regarding the event, outside of road closure information, please contact the event organizer directly.
