Lane Closure on 1st Avenue North to Begin Tuesday, May 5
The closure will allow for private underground utility work
FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA – Beginning Tuesday, May 5, eastbound 1st Avenue North will be closed between University Drive North and 10th Street North. Crews will be spotting and locating all underground utilities in this stretch. This closure is expected to be in place for up to one week.
This is the first phase of a project to aid City project designers for a future 1st Avenue North street reconstruction project. Crews will be digging down to locate underground utilities and then patching the roadway. Over the next couple of months they will be working in phases from University east to 3rd Street North.
