Intersection Closure on Elm Street North to Begin Tuesday, July 14

The closure is for underground and roadway work

FARGO, NORTH DAKOTA Beginning Tuesday, July 14, the intersection of Elm Street North and 29th Avenue North will be closed to traffic. Motorists will be detoured via 28th Avenue North, 3rd Street North and Forest Avenue North.

The closure is part of the 29th Avenue North Street Reconstruction Project. Crews will replace underground utilities and reconstruct the asphalt roadway through the intersection. The closure is expected to remain in place for up to three weeks, weather permitting.

Traffic control signs will be in place to direct motorists around the closure. The City of Fargo appreciates the public's patience and encourages drivers to use caution and allow additional travel time while work is underway.
