(WEST FARGO, N.D. – May 11, 2026) The City of West Fargo’s Planning Department will hold an Open House Tuesday, May 19 from 5 – 6:30 p.m. at West Fargo City Hall, 2515 6th St. E. The purpose of the open house is to share an initial draft of the City’s Growth Area Master Plan and give community members the opportunity to provide input on the future growth and development of the city. A Project Overview Presentation will be held at 5:15 p.m., however residents may stop in at any time during the event to learn more about the project, review project maps, provide input, and speak with City Staff and Project Consultants, HKGi. “The Growth Area Master Plan was initiated to proactively plan for anticipated growth and development as land in West Fargo’s extraterritorial areas becomes available upon the completion of the FM Diversion and completion of the West Fargo Lagoon Decommissioning project” said Director of Planning and Zoning, Aaron Nelson. “We look forward to presenting this draft to residents and community members and to receiving your feedback.”  Project information, the draft plan, and an opportunity to sign up for updates are available here.   # END #
