Closures on 7th Avenue Northeast Beginning Monday, July 13

 

(WEST FARGO, N.D. – July 10, 2026) The eastbound lane on 7th Ave NE, between 13th St NE and 7th Street NE will close for contractor work beginning Monday, July 13. On Wednesday, July 22, 7th Ave NE will close to eastbound and westbound traffic, and the intersection of 7th Ave NE and 9th Street NE will close as part of the 9th St NE corridor reconstruction project taking place this summer.

 

Northbound traffic will be detoured to 12th Ave N from Main Street and 45th Street N, and southbound traffic will be detoured to Main Street from 12th Ave N and 45th Street N. Eastbound traffic will be detoured to 45th Street N from Center Street and 12th Ave N, and westbound traffic will be detoured to Center Street from 45th Street N and 12th Ave N.

Work is expected to be completed Saturday, October 26, pending weather conditions.

Motorists may encounter delays during commute times and should adjust their travel plans. Always use the ‘S’ check when traveling in and around construction areas – check your speed, space and stress.
