9TH Street NE Road Closure Beginning Thursday, May 7
(WEST FARGO, N.D. – May 5, 2026) 9th Street Northeast, south of the 9th Street NE and 12th Avenue NE, will be closed to through traffic and the southbound approach of the roundabout leading to 9th Street NE will be closed to all traffic beginning Thursday, May 7 as phase 2 of the 9th Street NE corridor reconstruction project taking place this summer. Access to businesses along the east side of 9th Street NE will be maintained.
Northbound traffic on 9th Street NE will be detoured to 12th Avenue N from Main Avenue and 45th Street N. Southbound traffic on 9th Street NE will be detoured to Main Avenue from 12th Avenue N and 45th Street N. Phase 2 is expected to be completed Saturday, July 11, pending weather conditions. Phase 1 is expected to be completed Saturday, May 31, pending weather conditions.
