L & G,

It is with sincere regrets that I painfully announce the death of my 20-year old DELSU undergraduate son, Akulunor Ogakume Ishie whose demise occurred in the night of Saturday 4th October, 2014 in a Port Harcourt hospital, after a brief illness. A very likeable boy and full of life, he was buried last Sunday evening in Port Harcourt.

Akulunor, may your gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Only God knows why you left us too soon. We shall miss you greatly, especially in your commentaries on current European football craze. Several times, I would return home to meet the house empty and would immediately realize that Akulunor and other boys had gone to a pay-view centre where the matches are enjoyed most with crowd screaming ovations.

I use the opportunity to thank the generality of Port Harcourt Ndokwa family and in particular Ebedei/Umutu communities, SAGOBITES, Ndokwa Social Club and other friends and well-wishers, for being by our side during these trying moments.  I must not fail to mention numerous friends who commiserated with us through FaceBook messages, SMS messages, telephone calls and those that supported us morally and materially during the shocking period. May God bless you all.

Regards,

Engr. F. E. Ishie.

Dear Engineer Ishie and family,

I send my heartfelt condolence to you and your entire family over the passing away of your very young son.  We normally pray for our children to bury their dad or parents and it hurts tremendously for a father to bury a 20 year old son- Akulonor, Ogakume Ishie. But God knows better!

Just take heart my brother and may almighty grant you and the entire family the fortitude to bear this sad loss. May the soul of the departed rest in peace.

CONTROLLING THE SILENT KILLER
High blood pressure is called the silent killer because it often has no warning signs or symptoms, and many people do not realize they have it. That is why it is important to get your blood pressure checked regularly.

The good news is that you can take steps to prevent high blood pressure, or to treat it if it is already high.
