Some of you probably remember I was cofounder and ED of Panzi Foundation USA  (Panzifounation.org), which led to FragilePeace (Fragilepeace.org) that I am doing now.

Dr Denis Mukwege and Dr Lee Ann De Reus were my cofounders at Panzi.

Dr Mukwege was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday.

I wanted to tell you guys that.  I am proud of it to be honest. When I showed up at ND I was a scared kid from a little town in hills of the middle of nowhere.  I had a very small part in this big event and I am telling you because you were my friends and more than that, my family.  I felt safe and secure and a part of something bigger than me at ND rugby.  It changed who I am and you guys were a huge part of that. It made me who I am today.

You share in what happened on Friday.  I wanted  you to know that.
