Thank you for your interest in our Masters team. We are an officially recognized United States Masters Swimming program and we are located at the National Capital YMCA in the heart of downtown DC. We are a smaller swim club and hold practices five days a week -- from 7-8 pm Mondays through Thursdays and from 11 am to 12:15 pm on Sunday mornings.

Our pool is short course meters (25 meters) without diving blocks, and we occupy two or three lanes during practices (back stroke flags are approximately five yards from the shallow and deep end walls). Our fast lane will swim between 2500 to 3000 meters during weekdays and up to 4000 on Sunday mornings.

We have a wide range of swimmers with varying speeds; if you swam in high school and or in college, we are sure you'd fit right in. But our team also has a number of fitness swimmers, triathletes, and recreational swimmers.
